The reason behind reading books should not be to finish them or to show off in society.
The reason should be to find answers you have been looking for — or to discover better questions you have not thought of yet.
Reading matters. But what matters more is the intention behind it. Is it curiosity that drives you to pick up a book, or is it just for appearances?
Read to find solutions to the problems you are facing. Or read to get a different perspective — one that teaches you a new way to think.
